I hope that the rise of the new powers in PC will bring us all a lot of fun, but, with the tryhard nature of elite players I hope a continued effort will be made to make this unique game mode open to all. Iv'e seen many corps in the past year give away many districts and even purposefully not take last districts from enemies in a effort to keep competition alive. I did a stint as a director in a major corp(Random Gunz) and saw a lot of the good and bad this game mode has to offer. My hope is that the new best of the best while continuing to push themselves to greater heights will see the smartness in getting new and small corps a chance. I realized that I had got to the point where only winning mattered and staying on top was more important than how I treated my friends. I even disrespected my enemies and made fun of the little guys trying to just do what we had once done which was claw and scratch to take one district(oh those early days, most fun and excitement and horror, all at the same time). In the end I was glad to see my own corp beat cause I thought we had got weak, but I was the one who needed the lesson. I forgot that fun and friendships mattered most. I would like to see new and little corps given those opportunities while protecting the last district rule except in the case of Declared War. If you wanna take someone out make it public in the war room and fight it out. Don't be gutless and wait till you see a corp got hit and stack em. Admit your at war and make alliances, then stack somebody, don't lurk in the star map like an interstellar peep show. I know my opinion may not matter to anybody, but that doesn't mean I'm wrong. Id'e rather not play PC than play without having integrity and I challenge you to have the courage to make PC better. Be hardcore but be a man about it and don't miss this opportunity to shape the game in this new PC age. Thanks and GGs.

Yeah thanks Cuse. I don't think I'll be going back to RGz but I don't really wanna PC against my old friends so it's really hard to find a new corp. My last PC experience with RGz just drove it home to me that I don't know where I fit in there anymore. I have to do what I think is best and what's best for my friends, still great guys, but I don't fit in there anymore. Random Gunz is still a great corp that tries to make the game better(Iv'e seen it first hand) and would be a good place for PC players looking to find structure and a layed back leadership style.

Yeah i wasn't involved much in that Gucci. What I heard was that 3rd rock was talking stuff to some of our guys about how they could beat us and it escalated from there. I the past we didn't even respond to stuff on the forums and I was actually told I couldn't respond to forum stuff during the TOP/SOP wars even though I was a director then. BUT that has changed and we've let players in that though friends they not only talk trash here but in ingame mail. I think that caused us to make more enemies than we could handle and should have been dealt with. I remember we fought a battle to "prove a point" and we got like a 4 cap by the end but a few days later I was told 3rd was still talking saying RGz was garbage, that's when it was decided to come in and take out 3rd Rock. See that's the type of reason why corps should openly Declare War on the forums so people can respond and then less of this would happen. Basically a little trash talk by both sides lead to a war with you guys and our leaders(I wasn't a director then) decided to take you out and it made RGz look bad to some people rather than getting on here and being more transparent with the community. I don't hate RGz for the changes it almost had to happen if the corp was going to grow and keep new players. Sax use to ring for us btw so it wasn't personal to me but I was gonna have my corps back.

That means a lot Zero. I wasn't a great player but I tried and use my mind as much as my fingers to try an play that old RG style of teamwork and accountability. I went 15th in a lot of PCs but knew I was a major reason for wins and you can do the same. Holding points and pushing against overwhelming odds was who I was, when I saw the resent changes I no longer felt I could fulfill my role. I had 10 wps and 9 deaths in my last PC for RGz before going logi in the middle of the match. I turned it around and helped hold one point for minutes then helped take my assigned point when I saw the opportunity but we lost that at the end because we needed another heavy. It wasn't what I was suppose to be doing and I got called out in corp chat in front of people I didn't know. A heavy can survive but the role but must be able to adjust and I just can't second guess my choices. I hope you stay brave and fight the good fight but PC does not favor us anymore and I can't just stand there and watch my team lose cause I can't stay alive in a suit with 1800 hp. I actually live longer in my commandos and logis and keep links down and bring A/V. I was never a great player but I did my job, CCP and other things has made that very difficult and very unfun, I hope the same doesn't happen to you. And big thanks for being my friend. May sound silly but the people who have your back even if they don't always agree with you are the people who matter I tried to do that for my friends in RGz and I hope I get remembered for that not for some stupid stats and all the fake planets we took together.

CUSE TOWN333 wrote:Paulus who ever in RDZ told you heavys are obsolete in PC is a fool. if you find yourself Hulked up watching your letter and the rest of your team is loseing the outside letters then thats their fault. The problem in this battle was getting to the inside objective on the surf research. I couldn't continue to push in as a heavy I was just target practice for mass driver an RRs. I still pushed half the match a lot with my team mates not with me. Once we got it I watched the side with one entrance. 2 times a speed hacker came through the other side and 3 guys missed him but the one time a guy came my side I got a kill with my logi so I didn't switch back to heavy. When they finally pushed heavy on the other side I couldn't help them hold it and we lost because of it. Still I felt I did the best could. My team didn't agree and words were said. Sadly it was bad timing as we were using a lot of new guys and getting in a fight about it was not my intention with a reattack to set up but it happened and I was willing to take part of the blame for it. That's not why I left just a part of it. As far as heavies holding points now new strategies have finally started which I saw coming since Warlords launched. I won't give it away too much but mass drivers into defensed positions guarded by slow immobile troops timed with flankers armed with bons shottys has replaced the old RE pitching (our best heavy admitted he didn't want to heavy anymore and hasn't been getting on his main for PC because of it). Get multiple guys shooting in from highs and catwalks and it can become a heavy death trap. Add the intelligent ads spams and A/V placement and cities become a deathtrap for heavies. Despite some good tough fought wins against them at times it seemed like we were playing against 24 guys when we played SOG. Add in lag issues still and we had nothing mentally left for fights with you guys or FA. Even when we beat SOG they played like they knew what we we're doing probably because they watch footage on Youtube, so I actually respect those guys and I said it early when we started playing them that they had gotten really good. The battle where we lost like 260 clones yet beat em by a half tick was one of the best matches ever, if it's out there it's worth a watch pure killers vs heart and teamwork. It was the old RGz that I remember and will never forget like some old war movie last man standing thing. I was motivated but I think it started a lot of big timers not showing for PCs. With good leadership though RGz may recover and be stronger from it I think a lot of guys would have folded sooner so they deserve mad respect for that.

If there was back and forth **** talking I understand that, but your director specifically told us that it was all because of only one player in our corp. they probably told you all different so to make it seem like it was justified. Our corp takes pride in not sending hatemail or hating on anyone we just do what the corp description says, chill and kill. But the past is the past that bull **** only made us come back way stronger so I sort of thank rdgz Ok that's good. When they were talking about it before the PC it just sounded to me like they were talking about more than one person. That stuff happens and sometimes you do take it serious or too seriously. If guys talk about their ever gonna take 3rd down or out thats the one I think you gotta take serious and go to war and you have the right to take em out, but I wanna see people says that on the forum publically. It will help PC and even let people know which corps they might wanna join and stuff. It ain't like movies the good guys don't always win but if everybody would just man up and be honest I think it would be better. Some people might have to even learn a little humility if they have to ask for a cease fire. Imagine how that would go over on the forums. Might save a district though and keep people in the game and that's the important thing they might even learn to respect the people they went to war with. And hey you got good players try and keep your head up, you can field a 16 man team that can play and a lot of corps can't do that.

CUSE TOWN333 wrote:Dust User wrote:lol You said ceasefire. lol at ceasefire in a video game. and informing people of your hostel war talks. check your battle finder if all your districts are hit it probably means you are in a fight. I heard of quite a few corps asking for cease fires behind the scenes. But I mean CEOs posting openly that they are going to war with somebody so everybody knows. That's when the fun starts. I was told that DMG wasn't allied with the SOG, AE, FA alliance to take out Random Gunz. But once they found out we were getting hit they would stack us. So if the beef was between SOG n RGz, DMG was blocking your alliance from stacking us. That actually gave RGz an out in the war had they sent the A team to fight DMG each time which they didn't do but could have. I was there when DMG hit all our districts 5 days after SOG hit them all and DMG brought 5 or so other corps to field there battles so if nobody know RGz actually felt like they had no reason to continue fighting the war that developed with SOG and you guys because we had like everybody(8 or 9 corps) that were trying to take us out. I am free to say it now but I didn't think SOG took RGz out even though all your guys corps(AE n FA) had A teams that could bring it and win matches vs. RG. DMG sneaking around and stacking our battles and us not being able to respond because of clones and other fights was what ultimately broke it to me. And I feel they don't deserve that credit, not because have anything against them they just never seemed able to beat our best team, but somehow they get credit for knocking off the Team at the top of the districts(I never even knew what they had against RGz) That's why Id'e like to see everyone declare war openly. He who pops off in the forum and declares WARRRRR should be the one to reap the tears or should have everybody see their tears. OK it's a crazy idea but a clone can dream, right?

Cuse is pretty right bout the Meta game, it at least was not very strong during my directorship and didn't improve a whole lot after Darth and Therm came in, though I think it did somewhat and maybe more improved after I stepped down. I think just about everybody knew how we did things far as PC though our strategies on the bridge became much better. Adjustments and focus on Minm Ast. was the big change, our team wasn't built around slayers and mobility so link control became very difficult and yet our primary focus. Pretty easy though to kill players when your few killers are told to focus on dropping and scrubbing. The fact that I played better WP wise running calmando with links should say how desperate we were just to keep link alive vs. SOG. Also the vehicle spam somehow became a problem, Darth and Jamican were constantly outnumbered by sometimes 3 tanks 2 ads or 3 ads 2 tanks on bridges. What's worse is we might one night have 5 vehicles on but sometimes we had none who had played a PC with us. Ain't no excuse but we were starting to see matches where we had 1 or 2 heavies on. When asked what we thought the problem was I said we weren't a team made up of tryhards. Of course almost nobody understood my definition of tryhards, tryhards are people obsessed with winning at all cost, using the best fit o da month, and train together in squads each day all day. NF was building a good team with good team work running FWs all day while RGz most hardcore players were on Ambush and Dom not even playing on PC maps. We ran FW but alot of times against each other and I ain't seen a qsync rarely in months. You have to live eat and drink PC, when things got tough we were all over the place with our regulars and the giving up is actually to retrain new players from PNP and NEA who we had just picked up. So we had two full teams of RGz for the initial MAss attacks on the Sunday a friday night but the next week we had matches we all he sudden couldn't fill all roles and sometimes even all spots as some player who were on had never been in a war and thought they could pub while the corp was fighting. The blue donut was the worst thing and best thing for us because RGz had a lot of players who were happy with one PC a night and 5 districts, nobody ever said they wanted to have the most districts and I was there for a lot of that talk. I always thought that was a bit of a cop out(for all the big corps to say)and was happy to see that Vaders Fist actually wanted it all. I got looked down on when I started talking about SOG was a hungry corp in the beginning now their the best team no matter the district count. Random Gunz grew in to a big corp by having a core group of hungry players in the end of our big run we weren't able to keep that, we added great assets in Silver n Destroyer, Heracles who needs a larger role in decision making and older players from the merge tried to show as well such as but not limited too Mikbomb and Greenhorn, Therm left PS2 to come back and help but others left and we never had time to get a feel for the new guys add that we didn't know which guys would be on which matches we had to hope to fill in spots. I played sick for six days my self. So ends the sad tale of the Fall of RGz, I hate to see it but great corps don't quit they reload. ha ha Random Punz.

I think Blue donuts will arrive whether we want em too or not. The top corps get so big and don't want to expand or take districts unless they can give em away so they don't fight each other or want to take each other out, cause who wants to manage like 40 districts. During the donut dayz RGz were playing Cap Ac. clone packs a few times a week then later we played OH once and a while. As long as people didn't get their feelings hurt it was all good and for the most part it was. It actually exposed some weakness in us to play them both so we could try and recruit and train. But we played enough that I was against those matches at the time, too much risk little reward ISK wise if nothing else, plus thinking if the wrong person gets mad we might have to go to war over like 40 a 50 districts. I'm not sure who was talking stuff publically to SOG, though but I did get the impression that RGz was being branded as racist for our part in the Lag War which actually had nothing to do with race to me, just a lot of corps united because they thought central and south American corps were using lag as an unfair(or atleast unfun) advantage. This may have also gave the impression that Cap n RGz were in league to protect each other hence the donut talk started around then. But is it racist because a Latino based corp and a euro based corps with asian ringers wanted to take RGz out, no they probably don't hate us because were Mericans and we just don't like their internet connections.

Sry bout the paragraphs. Mik has always had an attitude about him and we had 2 major fights ourselves, but it actually made us better friends. Again meta game problem though if he's doing diplomatic relations like that, I would only want David or Darth saying something like that as they direct the whole direction of the corp and it bends to their will in the New RGz. I don't blame them for their leadership styles but small corp RGz was able to make decisions amongst directors better and bigtime RGz suffered rash decisions made at times by a few. So we kinda deferred to the big two sometimes or one guy would do something rogue, I think.
A lot of the other stuff was what I thought except I think FA goes back quite a while to the Murphy's war time when they took a step back to recruit(I think that was what they said on the forums) after they had a really tough night and got ruffed up by our pre DD/ABPV merger team as well as Cap and a few others but I'm old and do forget stuff. I actually thought it was a good thing to see them in a more active role again because I don't like seeing all these traditional corps that I remember then disapearing from PC as well a the fact that Derrith Erador had been a good friend for a long time and helped early RGz when we had no vehicles at all. Again I want to see PC expanded and would support a yearly reset of district with a winner declared by CCP, say in DEC on each year then a hiatus as Concord(Lore here folks) clears the systems, then we all start fresh in January. (called endgame folks).
I am available for ringing and Paulus for CPM 3.......................Thousand!!!!!!

Yeah Cuse I don't want it to be that way and it may not be a David thing at all I was told tonight. Darth has a very strict rule about how we treat other RGz and I felt like I was attacked by multiple guys in our corp chat between two pcs so I cussed out Silver and David out in front of people I don't even know so I see why Darth may have removed me from gunnerz. I was but in a bad spot and I responded and have since apologized to Silver and tried to contact Dave.
I was a very challenging and confrontation director(because I cared so much) and choose to step down months ago cause I thought it was best for the corp, I just left them because it was what I thought was best for the corp. That's no **** talking or trying to make myself look good, I was just raised you put your friends before yourself and even if some of them hate me now they know that I never intended to hurt them by any of my reactions and decisions. But I might be to devicive to have in their PCs and their PC chat cause I am a little at odds with the current leadership even thought many I count as close friends

I never meant to imply that DMG didn't have a good team btw, I just thought when we had our regulars in we we're better overall. I enjoyed a lot of the fights too, but I was out of the loop by then and had no idea personally why DMG didn't like us. I remember what it was like when corps use to farm us when we came up as a small corp too, but I never got the impression that was what was up with D.I.
You brought DC, Kappa, Abyss, Prima, even some SOG against us the day you stacked us and it didn't work(you did win some matches and took 1 district I think out of 20). But now that I'm not RGz I can let you know that's why you had matches with quality ringers cause we were fielding 3 teams. If you thought it was unfair that we had help well so did you. Remember the day you no showed the last 2 matches cause you told David you didn't have people on to fight(this is what I was told you said)? I think you and RGz should fight it out if that's what you want. And if they ain't willing to do it that's on them not me. You might think I sound like a carebear in this thread, guess again. I when to the CBM and got permission to take out TOPs districts when they reformed and started taking districts again(because they had ran off in the middle of our 1st war). While I was a director in RGz for about 6 months we helped take out multiple enemies in real wars where the stacking don't stop till someone is gone from PC. Murphy's, TOP, SOP, GLORY, DDB, 1 UP, Molon, FA, Nyian, and more we fought wars and mini wars with in my time. Some survived and got stronger some died and are no longer. But I wasn't enjoying who I had become in this game and I eventually stepped down(months back) to take a step back and have fun and let other people do all that stuff.
I don't think RGz will come and try and take you out BUT I can almost count the votes of the directors who right now would vote to go to war with you. So you might wanna mail Darth and ask real nice to cease hostilities because those guys don't like to talk about what their gonna do, but when they make up their minds to do it, Iv'e seen the aftermaths. So I'm actually trying to be nice so you know, they would send every clone they had and let AE, SOG, And FA take all their districts so you couldn't stack em back, so they could take everything you have. I ain't joking, I respect what your trying to do to make your corp the best it can be but those guys blame you for what there going through having to rebuild, but they ain't gonna get on here and say it for the most part. I'm the only PC guy who left them btw and they could call on 2 A teams if players were willing to come back on for just one more war(and that's why alot of guys left cause we weren't hungry anymore). Remember I was little more that a decoy guy just there to do a few little things while others got the kills and wps.And BTW they got allies who would help that I personally have heard are willing to take DMG out.
I'm a friendly guy now and I'm enjoying a little DUST retirement, so I'll even give you advice. Try an take out RGz, now, with all your might cause they ain't gonna forget and unlike me they don't forgive easily either. No troll, if you think you got what it takes take em out, do it, you'll even earn my respect, cause despite how things went down between me a few RGz, I know they are good players who play their heart out even if I think they've strayed a little from the path that built RGz.

A lot of us would like to see KEQ back in PC, I pushed to give Subsonic, Dethdealers, and KEQ districts as they gave me a shot to ring when I 1st got in RGz and we didn't have a lot of battles. Any battle that wasn't a big battle Cuse would try and get me in KEQs PCs, and I had a friend in Subs, the Alex Kiadou, so I helped them when needed. And Kratos, and Alcina, Green, and a bunch of Deths would let me ring. Kratos would send me invites before they had officially started setting up teams. So I say Zap try and become a ringer some, It's a great way make friends, get experience, learn to play different strategies, and form allies and help your alliance mates. I was ringing for Bird and Dust Brazil, as well as GAC, even though my Espanol is muy grande sucko. I even got the nickname El Albino Grande Chulupa, which I hear means great warrior king or dances at taco bell. But in all truth those guys are really cool and if you know what your doing they will work around the language barrier.

I thought I saw bikerdad on the other day but in another corp, I know Doctor was on for a bit but when he left I played a match where Juan Jose and Masha were trying to put a team together, right before she left for OH. So they would need a FC and either outside help or Alliance ringers to get it going fast. Maybe if Dust User was interested in helping or Viktor even as well they could help bring in some friends to help field teams until a little recruiting drive might be needed for PC roles. Cuse wouldn't have to return but could guide em and Alcina and Stylie would probably have to really wanna make it happen. I think just getting them back in PC could work though but the right pieces would have to fall into place.

Bradric Banewolf wrote:Integrity... more important than winning to me. I like that word. Sounds like your eyes are finally open paulus. o7 I was in a corp that sorta transitioned from what it was to what it became. I actually watched it happened and felt powerless to fully preserve what had begun so long ago. The thing with TOP and my involvement over the 1st war with your guys was actually about integrity. We had tried to help out TOP when they 1st got going by giving district, ringing, and doing training PCs. I had felt like a good friend to Gramma Nasty and a little to Drout and had been a big supporter of her involvement with Hellraizerz. When she left them(under agreement with their old CEO) she gave some districts to TOP that we had helped win and defend for Hellz even after they left for Destiny and left her holding the ball. So during these training PCs it became known to me that we were being felt out for an attack, using clones from the old Hellz district which were located in the same region. I also learned Gramma didn't really like me much and had got a grudge because I wanted to use Hellz districts to train RGz PC teams(instead we locked them and ISK farmed to get the wallet to expand our territory and theirs, an they only had 2 or 3 PC players at the time because they had merged with us and she was a director in RGz until she left for TOP and had her alt take the Hellz districts and some fair compensation).
A lot of people have asked me details over all this but it really didn't heat up until Sota Pop posted his Warrrrr!!!! Post. I had already contacted our Alliance leadership and friends to prepare for the attack that was coming the day before his post, and I was actually glad he said it but I was under orders not to respond or any of our guys. Later after RGz had won people got to hear more of the details of the other things that TOP had been up to that had very little to do with me personally, but nonetheless if true certainly weren't very good for PC in general.
https://youtu.be/J14H0WVhL_o This is the link to the interview that Silver did that exposed some of it. Remember that the new TOP may be completely different and worthy of your support. If your invested I say get involved and make sure it's on the up and up. I waited too long and let the corp I luv'd, RGz, become a place I didn't recognize with certain leaders who would disappear in the middle of the SOG war and run and hide to protect their K/D while myself and others would fight our hearts out for the win. I don't know what TOP is now and I hold no specific ill will, maybe you can be the player to fight for and with integrity within that corp. Trust me PC needs people like that, so goodluck.

Yeah sorry my penchant for writing comes from poetry and free verse, separated lines tend to indicate pausing where my intend is to indicate speech where I would run on sentences and carry paragraphs like large blocks of interupted discussion. Also I'm conveying my thoughts as I type so I may miss punctuation, spelling, and start new paragraphs before ending the one I'm on. Just read it as if I'm speaking half to you and half from my heart.
And now for some Poe... From childhood's hour I have not been As others were-I have not seen As others saw-I could not bring My passions from a common spring. From the same source I have not taken My sorrow; I could not awaken My heart to joy at the same tone; And all I lov'd, I lov'd alone. Segment from Alone by E.A. Poe.

Random Gunz did use to lock with Hellraizerz back around a year ago. It was a strategic thing but we also tried to leave a district open for attack as well. Silver wasn't with us then but we used it to build the corp wallet and to occasionally even pay our players and ringers, especially vehicles. Gramma Nasty, who is back with TOP, btw, was a big part of that at the time. We we're told behind the scenes that look everybody is doing it, but in truth ROFL did not support it as an Aliiance. And I believe if memory doesn't fail, Dust User and Stylie(maybe Cuse too?) all said they would hit us if they found out we were farming. KEQ was very against that and still are as the defacto leaders of the new ROFL.
But am I saying it was bad, no, not neccesarily because without it a few corps that were mad at KEQ would have took us out as their allies because at the time they couldn't beat em. Early on every time we would get a district or 2, DDB would either hit us and take it or ring like 14 guys for another corp and take it. One of the problems with the big doughnuts is that smaller corps also face getting hit and stacked by other small corps cause their just isn't enough districts to go around.
You need to hold a few districts for a while to recruit and to see who is committed to playing and locking is a cheap tool but a tool none the less. BUT RGz didn't rely on this tool forever it was only a short term solution and only involved one district after a while. I'm just in a position where I can be honest about it now and say almost everybody was and is doing it, just be a man up corp and once your teams in place open em up like RG did, they never won a war against anybody until after that stuff had stopped. And they did it at a big risk as back then multiple corps would try and run you out for it.
We did feel and some stuff was said about 3rd Rock in those PCs that your guys were not trying and cared more about their K/D than winning, I honestly thought your team quit on the city map against us at least twice within the first 5 mins of the matches, when your guys weren't getting stomped just it was a tough fight. And as someone who played PC almost every night for 15 months I find that a serious problem and suggest you address it. And your corp is not the only one with that problem and most of em don't last in PC long. When RGz had 8 PC players and 2 districts with one locked we would lose 25 close a piece just trying to stay in a match with a good corp. When RGz gave up in the face the mass attack from SOG, n DMG, plus FA n AE we had players who would complain or stop showing up if they lost too any clones. When I no longer wanted to fight and die while some of my team mates we're K/D carebearing I knew I was done in Random Gunz and I didn't wanna be their anymore.
So don't farm, and if ya have to don't do it long. The only PC stat that matters is do you like who you are when you play a PC. It's just a game but if you don't try and you can't win without cheating and/or cheap tactics how will any of us learn to be winners in real life? And that goes for everybody involved in PC and people living in glass houses shouldn't throw stones either. Silver saw what was going on and he tried to get us to do what the old CPM would do, but until the players decide to reform it I think nobodies gonna do much to stop Locking or the new lock farming system.
